In the evening, we’ll come together for a special welcome dinner filled with delicious Austrian cuisine and even better conversation.

Today we explore the heart of Vienna on a guided walking tour, uncovering grand boulevards, hidden courtyards, and the city’s rich imperial history. We’ll make sure to stop at one of Vienna’s famed café for coffee and a traditional pastry.

Later, we’ll stroll the grounds of Schönbrunn Palace, where the palace courtyards transform into enchanting Christmas markets. The evening will be spent under the glowing lights while shopping for handcrafted gifts and sipping mulled wine.

Enjoy a slow morning in Vienna with some free time. If you’d like to dive into Vienna’s culture scene by visiting a museum or just do a little holiday shopping, you can take it at your own pace.

We’ll come together for a Austrian cooking class and learn to prepare some traditional dishes which we’ll have for lunch.

In the afternoon, we’ll explore another enchanting Christmas market, and for those who wish, the evening offers the option to attend a classical concert. This is a truly special way to experience Vienna’s rich musical heritage.

It’s time to enjoy one final morning in Vienna…perhaps squeezing in one last coffee and cake before boarding the train to Budapest.

Arriving in Hungary’s vibrant capital, we settle in before heading out for dinner together, followed by drinks in one of Budapest’s iconic ruin bars. This is a perfect introduction to the city’s creative energy and atmospheric nightlife.

Today we discover the rich history and grand architecture of Budapest on a guided walking tour. We’ll take in some gorgeous views from the Buda Castle district.

In the afternoon we’ll gather for a Hungarian wine and cheese tasting, sampling local varietals paired with regional specialities. If you haven’t yet experienced Central European wine, this is the perfect opportunity to try something new and delicious. In the evening, we’ll explore the city’s festive Christmas markets.

There will be the option to attend a concert or ballet (subject to availability), offering a beautiful glimpse into Budapest’s celebrated cultural scene.

Ease into your final day in Budapest with a relaxed morning. We recommend lingering over coffee in a cosy café, picking up a few last souvenirs, or taking one more stroll through the city.

In the afternoon we’ll meet at one of the city’s thermal baths to unwind in its warm, mineral-rich waters, a quintessential Budapest experience.

For our last evening, we’ll come together for a special farewell dinner, raising a glass to a week of festive magic, culture, and connection.
